The Pentafood® film product line has been extended to include Pentafood® W-5129 rigid PP film. With a heat deflection temperature of 275-deg F, the W-5129 film is engineered to offer the highest heat-resistance available in a PP film in the marketplace, the co. reports. Suitable for microwave applications or foodservice hot-hold cabinets, this film provides enhanced stiffness for down-gauging opportunities. The W-5129 film can also be processed on conventional PP thermoforming machinery, and it can be sealed to a variety of standard lidding materials. It's available in a variety of standard colors and is compliant with applicable FDA standards for direct-food contact.
