Ready Pac Salad Singles

Ready Pac has debuted Salad Singles, a single-serve packaging salad aimed at consumers with more cautious spending habits. Salad Singles are built with the same flavor profile as Ready Pac's No. 1 selling single-serve salad line, Ready Pac Bistro, but are less than 200 calories and have a suggested retail price of $2.99 per unit. Varieties include Garden Salad, Caesar Salad, Fiesta Salad, and Spinach Dijon Salad. As with Ready Pac's other single-serve salads, all Salad Singles bowls include lettuce, toppings, dressing and a fork.

"We are very sensitive to the consumer need for value during these economic times, but it also challenges us to help deliver solutions that are not at the expense of quality or convenience." says Tristan Kieva, Ready Pac's director of marketing.

The introduction of Salad Singles, with its crystal clear packaging, has caught the eye of industry leaders and was recently named a Finalist in the 2011 "Best New Vegetable Product" category by the United Fresh Produce Assn. and will be featured in the Ready Pac booth at the upcoming United Fresh Convention in New Orleans, May 2-5, 2011.
