Seeking to enhance the functionality and reliability of its gantry robots in the handling and sorting rolls of products, the co. introduces a new design of Z-axis assembly. Using a direct-drive ball screw and servo-motor combination, the new assembly is said to handle payloads up to 4,000 lb and reach speeds up to 60 in./sec, also offering fine-tuning flexibility.
