Sauza Tres Generaciones brand Tequila Relaunches with New Packaging

Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. and Sauza brand Tequila have announced the relaunch of their Tres Generaciones family of tequilas, which now offers a full line of triple-distilled tequilas.

To support the relaunch, Tres Generaciones is unveiling new packaging for its Tres Generaciones Plata, Tres Generaciones Reposado, and Tres Generaciones Añejo tequilas. The new packaging of the Tres Generaciones expressions will be available January 2009.

Photos of the new bottles aren't available yet, but the company descrbes the design as a celebration of the brand's history and heritage:

While keeping its signature shape, the new Tres Generaciones packaging tells the brand’s story through the artisanal craftsmanship of its founders and the tequila-making process in a modern and stylish way. The front label features medallions of the three founding Dons of Sauza (Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and Don Francisco Javier) and the date of 1873 when Don Cenobio founded La Perseverancia, the Sauza family distillery. The Sauza family crest adorns the neck while the back of the bottle has engraved agave leaves, representing the time and dedication of the Sauza family to the 100 percent Weber blue agave cultivation. A rendition of a metal beaten collar decorates the shoulder of the bottle in silver (Plata), gold (Reposado) and bronze (Añejo) colors and the bottle is topped with an elegant wood and cork bottle stopper.
