Tails pre-mixed cocktail shakers

Tails is a line of pre-mixed alcoholic drinks that enables consumers to whip up high-end cocktails without having to visit a local watering hole. The pack-designed by Smallfry Design to mirror the look and function of a classic cocktail shaker-lets thirsty users add ice, shake and serve tasty beverages at their home bars.

To create the functional container, RPC Market Rasen developed a four-part injection-molded lid that allows the end user to dispense the finished drink much as it would be by a pro barkeep. The lid is assembled and printed with a 4-color design at the packaging firm's facility. Sister firm RPC Blackburn makes the injection stretch blow-molded (ISBM) PET base, decorated with a shrink sleeve. The base is induction-sealed after filling for tamper protection and extended shelf life.

According to Tails owner Nick Wall, "Cocktails are about an experience and the ritual of shaking ingredients with ice, so the packaging allows the consumer to experience that fully."

Tails cocktails are sold online by a variety of web-based retailers.
