Menasha Pacakging receives Patriot Award for employer support of the Guard and Reserve
Menasha Packaging received the Patriot Award and recognition from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in a ceremony held on May 7, 2009. The presentation was led by Commander Mark W. Stewart, Navy Operations Support Center Commanding Officer, and LeRoy E. Frahm, Omsbudsman for the Wisconsin Committee of the ESGR. In addition, Mike Waite, President of Menasha Packaging, and Rick Calhoon, the company’s Director of Strategic Sourcing, were given individual Patriot Awards.The awards were initiated by Menasha Packaging’s employee, Len Hatton. “We’ve seen a lot of news over the last couple of years about the sacrifices being made by our reservists and families,” Commander Stewart said. “What often goes unnoticed is the contributions made by the businesses who make reservists available for annual training, drills and mobilizations. EFI Takes Center Stage at Digital Label Summit in Barcelona
At the Digital Label Summit in Barcelona, Spain, March 24th and 25th, Dr. Ken Stack of EFI spoke on two of the conference's program sessions.
