SwiftPharm electronic tablet and capsule counter reportedly reaches a speed of 100 bottles/min on a 100-count fill, effectively doubling the throughput previously available for electronic counters while still maintaining a comparable footprint, the co. says. Using a proprietary infrared-counting system and advances in vibratory linear feeding and precount gating enable the machine to achieve higher speeds than ever thought possible, the co. adds. The removal of pneumatics and operating the precount gates with stepper motors assures quieter operation.
