Tetra Pak and Mengniu Group, a leading dairy product manufacturer in China, announced the launch of a limited-edition Milk Deluxe Pure Milk promotion. Aseptic cartons feature designs showing masterpieces from Van Gogh and Monet. The striking graphics take advantage of Tetra Pak Custom Printing capabilities.

Packaged in Tetra Pak's Prisma Aseptic 250 Edge cartons with DreamCap 26 closure, the designs result from a collaboration with Meet You Museum. Cartons of the dairy’s Milk Deluxe Pure Milk product line will be distributed online and in stores across China.

Tetra Pak says its Custom Printing offers food and beverage brands an opportunity to cater to consumer demand for product personalization while continuing to protect food safety and quality. The company reports it to be the first digital inkjet-based printing method in the carton packaging industry that’s “unrestricted by physical printing plates” for greater design variability. It allows for over 30 designs on a single packaging material reel, producing sharper color, detailed rendering, and softer, more natural color gradients.
