Wrap-around label applicator: Product of the day

Recently introduced at SouthPack in Charlotte, N.C., the Geset 121 label applicator is a cost-effective alternative to low-volume wrap-around bottle labeling that is as precise and malleable as other competing labeling systems that are used in larger-scale operations.

The unit features the fast and accurate positioning of full, overlap and partial wraps of pressure-sensitive labels on straight-wall bottle and other cylindrical containers. Products up to 7-in. in diameter and up to 12-in. high are easily accommodated using the system’s adjustable guide rails.

The Geset 121 can be assimilated into existing production processes or function as a manually-fed, stand-alone bottle labeling solution. During application, labels are peeled away from the liner and firmly attached to products through the use of a wipe-on applicator and integrated wrap station.
