An agreement has been reached between IPACK-IMA, a world-leading exhibition organizer for processing, packaging and material handling, and ITALMOPA, the Italian Milling Industry Association, in the light of the upcoming edition of the exhibition on schedule in Milan–Rho from March 24th to 28th 2009.

The agreement between IPACK-IMA and ITALMOPA adds prestige to IPACK-IMA’s strongest area, Grain Based Food. This area focuses on technology and products for cereal processing and promotes the milling industry, which is represented by ITALMOPA in both of its divisions, soft wheat milling and hard wheat milling.

The agreement, which will be developed over the 2012 and 2015 editions as well, has a relevant strategic value and provides for the participation of ITALMOPA at the exhibition. It will feature a dedicated stand and the presence of a number of member companies as exhibitors. IPACK-IMA will thus display an even richer product offering: from different flours to technology and products for the processing and packaging of pasta, bread, pizza and snacks.

During the validity of the agreement up to the 2015 edition, IPACK-IMA will be promoted through ITALMOPA’s promotional tools: website, newsletter, house organ and association events. ITALMOPA has also committed to carrying out specific promotional actions with member companies and has made available data and information to make ad-hoc information campaigns about the exhibition more effective.

The exhibition will also feature a convention organized by ITALMOPA dedicated to any professional working in the Grain Based Food segment. As a consequence of the agreement with ITALMOPA, IPACK-IMA 2009 will also be the designated location for the official meeting of the Association of European Bran Producers.
