New at PACK EXPO is the G3 bagmaker, manufactured by Kliklok-Woodman, Booth C-1400. Designed for packaging candy, nuts, crackers, cookies, chips and other snacks, the machine offers ease of operation and flexibility on working speed and package size. The G3 features a sturdy tubular steel frame, fitting into a smaller footprint than most twintube bagmakers. A center-balanced profile allows weighers and volumetric fillers to be direct-mounted to the machine, eliminating the need for a support structure or mezzanine.

The electrical cabinet is tucked inside the frame, allowing easy access to the machine’s interior for maintenance, and the company’s Insight iconbased, multilingual, color touchscreen interface simplifies operation. Various bag-style options are available, including block-bottom bags, perforated bag string, promotional strip, notching and hole- punched versions. Options include the Woodman Codeline digital thermal transfer overprinter made by Videojet Technologies Inc., Booth C-1807. The device delivers 300 dpi images of variable and real-time data on flexible packaging materials.
