Robatech AG’s new environmentally friendlier “Green Line” Concept Series of adhesive melting units is said to provide the same rugged, reliable performance that this line has always delivered, but is now fully insulated to maximize efficiencies and reduce the carbon footprint normally associated with adhesive melting units. By encasing heat generating components within the hot melt units, the overall efficiencies of Robatech systems are increased by 17%, says the company. A further plus of the insulation of the applicator head and the insulated cover over the adhesive distributor is improved protection of operating personnel. The danger of personal injury (burns) during operation of the appliances is reduced to the minimum, says the company.
