Boots’ Trevor Sorbie Professional debuts Beautiful Hair Collection, which was especially created to offer salon treatment at home. Style is critical in this competitive market sector, where aspirational qualities are as important as functionality. To achieve this, Boots and Trevor Sorbie Professional’s design agencies worked with M&H Plastics (www.mhplastics.com) to develop a stunning range of products exclusively for the new Trevor Sorbie Beautiful Hair Collection. M&H supplies the bottle and the cap, which is custom-made for Trevor Sorbie.
The brief was to maintain the iconic image of the badge featured on previous packaging, but to give it a more contemporary appearance. M&H developed an exclusive custom-molded bottle shape with an orientated flip-top cap. The HDPE bottles were produced with a beveled panel, which necessitated the labels being placed with absolute accuracy due to tight tolerances. A brand new precision labeling process was developed to deliver a bottle that is silk-screen printed and labeled.
