John Bold named publisher of Packaging Digest

OAK BROOK, IL, January 28, 2009— Packaging Digest reports that John Bold has assumed the responsibilities of group publisher for the Reed Business Information (RBI) Printing & Packaging Group, which consists of Packaging Digest, Converting Magazine, Graphic Arts Monthly and Graphic Arts BlueBooks. He succeeds the former publishers, who left the company during an internal restructuring and workforce reduction taking place this week. 

Bold is a veteran in the printing and packaging industry with more than six years as Group Publisher of  American Printer and Paper Film & Foil Converter.  He brings a broad range of experience in many business-to-business vertical markets. Bold continues as publisher of Control Engineering magazine, another RBI title.
