Lenticular flexographic printing 4049

Using the Kodak Flexcel NX digital flexographic system from Kodak's Graphics Communications Group (GCG), Pixalen Studio, a lenticular prepress service, and lenticular lens extruder Pacur have developed a system for lenticular flexographic printing. While printing lenticular effects on flexographic presses has been attempted before, issues around print resolution, dot size and press registration have prevented its success. The introduction of higher resolution imaging devices, combined with interlacing technology and rolled lens stock, has now made lenticular flexographic printing a reality, the co. states.
