Studio OneUp, the US-based manufacturer of Jaxx designer bean bag furniture, announced today that it is launching new point-of-purchase packaging, making it easy for retailers to stock and sell bean bag chairs.

Bean bags have been popular for decades, but due to their bulky sizes, they have been difficult for retailers to stock -- until now. Jaxx takes bean bag seating to the next level -- forgetting the bean in favor of foam -- offered in a two part POP system, that is easy to store and lightweight enough to carry out the door.

Studio OneUp's POP packaging is an innovation designed to help retail stores stock and sell a variety of bean bags easily and efficiently. All Jaxx bean bag covers come packaged individually in vinyl carry bags. The vacuum packed foam filling, or EcoFom, comes in three different volumes and is boxed and sold separately. The consumer selects the model and color of bean bag cover they would like to purchase. The packaging of each cover indicates the number of EcoFom boxes that must be purchased to fill the bag.

"Our POP packaging enables the consumer to have a build-your-own bag experience, and provides for easy transport from the retail store to their home," said Louis Friedman, President and CEO, Studio OneUp. "Once your customers select their bean bag style, just add EcoFom to their purchase and they're ready to go. We created the Jaxx POP to help retailers fulfill an unmet need and sell more bean bags."

The line consists of eighteen bean bag models in a variety of colors and conforms to one of three standard carry bag sizes. Jaxx vinyl carry bags are easily merchandised on a wall display or shelving unit. To request a wholesale catalog, call 1.866.384.2802.
