DataFlex® Plus thermal-transfer overprinter reportedly is now capable of higher print speeds and up to 25 percent greater throughput, meaning increased production for customers marking flexible packaging, the co. claims. Enhancement, standard on new units and upgradeable on existing ones, allows the overprinter to work at speeds to 40-in./sec (1,000 mm/sec) and code in excess of 425 packages/min, depending on ribbon width and application, the co. continues.
