Danafilms doubles its coextrusion capacity and facility in Franklin, KY
Danafilms, Inc. announces a 50,000 square foot expansion of its Franklin, KY facility, doubling the size of the plant to make room for a new co-extrusion line and accommodate future growth. The new Windmoeller & Hoelscher 7-Layer Blown Coextrusion film line will also double the company’s coextrusion capacity. Danafilms is investing $7 million in the expansion and plans to start up the new line before the end of the year. The new line will be on display in operation at the world’s largest trade show for plastics and rubber, the 2010 K Show in Düsseldorf, Germany October 27th to November 3rd.
ABB Technology Days to feature robotic and automation technology
ABB Robotics will host their annual Technology Days event on April 21st & 22nd, 2010 at their North American headquarters training center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In addition to numerous live demonstrations and dozens of in-depth seminars on the latest in industrial robotic technology, this year’s event will also feature presentations and exhibits from a variety of ABB business units, outside technology providers and ABB partners.
Topco Associates names Glenn Backus Senior Vice President, Innovation
