FPA ANNOUNCES 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Flexible Packaging Association announced its 2010 Board of Directors. Directors are elected by FPA voting members through mail ballot. Directors are elected for a term of one year and assume their directorship at the FPA Annual Meeting.

Dow Packaging and Converting Technical Center moves to Buffalo Grove, Illinois
The Dow Chemical Company's North American Technical Service and Global Research and Development Center for packaging adhesives and coatings will move to Buffalo Grove, Illinois in early April 2010. The expanded Tech Service and R&D Center represents a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to enhance customer support and new product development. Buffalo Grove is located in close proximity to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The facility has been located in Elgin, Illinois.
Alcoa wins inaugural environmental award
Alcoa announced today that its Warrick Indiana Operations has received the inaugural environmental award given during the annual Celebration of Leadership Awards sponsored by Leadership Evansville, an organization committed to community betterment. The awards recognize businesses, individuals and institutions that have made significant collaborative contributions to the community.
