Ryt-way Industries acquires the food & beverage contract packaging and equipment manufacturing businesses of Cloud Packaging Solutions
Ryt-way Industries LLC has acquired from Cloud Holdings LLC the food and beverage contract packaging and equipment manufacturing businesses of Cloud Packaging Solutions consisting of the three companies of Cloud Packaging Services, Cloud Equipment Company and Toll Packaging Services. The combination of the four businesses will create one of North America’s leading contract packaging companies with approximately $200 million of combined revenues across six facilities.

RockTenn announces price increase on CartonMate bleached paperboard products
RockTenn announces today a $40 per ton price increase on CartonMate® bleached paperboard products. Price increases are effective with shipments on October 4, 2010.

Appleton's West Carrollton mill earns Department of Energy Award
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) has awarded Appleton's paper mill in West Carrollton, Ohio, with the Save Energy Now Energy Champion designation. The award recognizes the mill's significant achievements in industrial energy efficiency. Just 56 U.S. manufacturers have received the Energy Champion designation in 2010.
