Comar, Inc. announces the acquisition of Universal Container Corporation
Comar, Inc. announced that on Friday, April 16th 2010 it has finalized the sale acquiring 100% of Universal Container Corporation’s (Unicon) assets from its current shareholders. Based in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Unicon is a leading manufacturer of high quality injection molded, injection blow molded, and extrusion blow molded parts and containers. Comar, based in Buena, New Jersey, is a manufacturer of proprietary pharmaceutical packaging with a leadership position in the Liquid Medication Delivery Device Market.  The transaction closed on April 16, 2010 and the terms were not disclosed.

Weber launches Go-Label.com e-commerce site to sell labels, ribbons and label printers online
In an effort to provide a convenient way of purchasing labeling supplies online, Weber Marking Systems has launched Go-Label.com, an all new web site that is offering a wide range of blank labels, thermal-transfer printer ribbons, and name-brand label printers. According to Tom Michalsen, Weber’s marketing director, a growing number of the company’s current and potential customers have expressed an interest in purchasing labeling supplies from Weber directly over the Internet. Go-Label.com is featuring hundreds of labeling supplies, including a wide range of blank thermal-transfer and direct-thermal pressure-sensitive labels; a broad selection of thermal-transfer printer ribbons for Datamax, SATO and Zebra label printers; plus direct-thermal and thermal-transfer label printers from Datamax and Zebra.

Intelligrated launches enhanced OnTimeParts.com for all material handling OEM parts
Intelligrated announces the launch of its expanded OnTimeParts operations for all material handling equipment. A one-stop shop for genuine replacement and upgrade parts regardless of OEM, the improved easy-to-navigate service features an upgraded online store (www.OnTimeParts.com), an expanded catalog of over 50,000 part numbers and extended live support hours. Strouse Corporation President & CEO Sue Chambers honored with 2010 Maryland Entrepreneurial Success of the Year award
The U.S. Small Business Administration has named Sue Chambers, President & CEO of The Strouse Corporation as the “2010 Maryland Entrepreneurial Success of the Year”.  The Strouse Corporation manufactures custom adhesive die cut parts using rotary and flatbed presses, as well as flexographically printed labels.
