Learning from 125 Years of Business Success at M. Jacob & Sons
The U.S.’s oldest family owned packaging innovator and distributor reaches a major milestone, celebrating 125 years. Max Jacob founded his one man bottle collection operation in Detroit in 1885, five years after immigrating to the United States. One hundred twenty-five years later, M. Jacob & Sons produces an array of packaging for clients nationwide.

James Gager named Senior Vice President, Group Creative Director for M•A•C, La Mer and Jo Malone worldwide
James Gager has been named Senior Vice President, Group Creative Director, a newly created position, overseeing all creative activity for M•A•C Cosmetics, La Mer and Jo Malone brands globally. Mr. Gager will continue to report to John Demsey, Group President of The Estée Lauder Companies and will begin his new assignment immediately. Mr. Gager has received numerous awards, including a Fifi for packaging design.

Safetek International appoints managers to launch non-toxic food film wrap for Newave Packaging, Inc.
Safetek International, Inc. announced that two managers have agreed to join Newave Packaging (in which Safetek recently acquired a majority ownership stake, as its first portfolio company). They will spearhead Newave's launch of its non-toxic film packaging product. Dr. Fredrik Verkroost will be President and Tony Schweinzer is named Chief Financial Officer.
