Model 5300 is the co.'s new label printer/applicator, which it says combines modular design with high speed, high-quality label printing, application and optional RFID encoding. Reportedly providing a variety of p-s application methods including air-blow, tamp-blow, corner-wrap and 2-label/adjacent panel labeling, the 5300 is also said to feature a repositionable operator interface and the capability to incorporate a user-specific PLC and remote monitor via a web browser. Standard print engines produce images at 203- or 300-dpi, with labels dispensed at rates to 16 ips.
