American International Industries attains packaging honors

Thirty- three innovative packages have been selected by a distinguished panel of judges for the coveted 2011 NJPEC Package of the Year Awards, to be presented at a gala dinner ceremony and exhibition on November 17, 2011. Categories included Health and Beauty, Fragrance, Color Cosmetics, Personal Care and Food and Beverage.

In the Health and Beauty category, the silver award honor of Package of the Year will be presented to American International Industries for Body Trench Quicktan Instant Self Tanner Bronze Lotion, submitted by Viva Healthcare Packaging.

This outstanding squeeze tube is the first of its kind. This is one of the first Injection Molded Tube with In Mold Label to hit the market. This breakthrough innovation enables Outstanding Graphics, Shorter Leadtimes and Superior Sustainability.

Package of the Year Award Judges were Candace J. Garland, Avon; Brooke T. Baxter, The Baxter Group; Lorraine Ahart, Mast Beauty and Home; Stephen Mohary, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company; and Jill Hilton, Estee Lauder.
