AZCO blister card cutter

This new blister card cutting system is said to be simple to use and take up only a minimal amount of floor space. To operate, the operator loads blister cards into a vertical magazine, from there, they are fed automatically into a shear or rotary cutting station and cut to size. The blisters then may be placed into a tray or onto a conveyor. The shear cutting unit operates at a high rate with a very fast changeover, according to the manufacturer; the cutting knives are made from hardened, D2 tool steel, and they can cut blister cards of any size into strips rapidly. The company states the system does not require any retooling and offers a multitude of adjustment options, with the ability to execute rounded corners and radius cuts.
