Luxury French beauty brand L'Occitane launches its limited edition Pivoine Flora collection in primarily paperboard packages. As Pivoine Flora is a collection that celebrates the peony, the flower with a thousand petals, and Flora, the goddess of spring, the collection needed packaging that could convey its connection to nature.

The paperboard packaging supplied by HCT France offers not only a natural look, it also is designed to be lightweight yet durable for everyday use.

"Most of the packages are made with cardboard inserts, but the insert of the duo blush is with EVA and a PP cover to ensure a good compatibility with the creamy formula," Jaiying Shen, project manager, HCT France comments. "We made a mirror slot in the lid of the quad palette. [The quad pallet is the highlight piece in the Pivoine Flora collection.] Like the rest of the pack, this [removable] mirror is elaborately decorated so that consumers can keep it as a pocket mirror when they have finished the make up inside."
