Boots has launched its 17 Blow Out mascara in a bright, striking pack, developed in partnership with cosmetic packaging firm Quadpack. The tube and messaging are intended to bring across the product's bold characteristics and volumizing capabilities.
The pack's look, aimed at the teen market, features straight, solid lines, a chunky body and vibrant, youthful colors. The black master-batched bottle features three silk screen colors: white, yellow and magenta. The cap is tampo-printed with the 17 logo in white, to line up with the print on the bottle when closed. Consistent with the company's other Brivaplast mascaras, 17 Blow Out has a premium closure that clicks into place to indicate to the user that the cap is securely closed and the product inside protected. The pack surface is smooth all over and has an inner gated cap. The injection point is hidden on the inside of the cap, so the top is a perfect level plane.
