The new packaging has been designed with signature Laura Ashley prints with which the brand is synonymous. The Scotties Laura Ashley Collection will be available exclusively at Target beginning in September 2011.
"Research shows that consumers care about the design of a facial tissue box just as much as they care about the quality of the product inside" says Joe Richards, director of marketing for Scotties. "When we asked consumers what design brand they would like to see created as a tissue box, Laura Ashley was at the top of the list."
These new fall designs are the first to emerge from Scotties multi-year, exclusive agreement with the global fashion and home décor giant. With consumer awareness levels of the Laura Ashley brand of 88 percent (2009 Zoomerang Brand Survey), Scotties is offering consumers an opportunity based on extensive research. "We're combining our Ultra Premium Tissue with the distinctive look of a well known global design leader to offer consumers a product that is like no other in its category," says Richards.
With a successful launch of the Laura Ashley Collection at Target, Scotties will expand the design portfolio in 2012, with plans for retail expansion across the United States.
