Nordenia USA Jackson receives highest mark in AIB audit
Nordenia USA Jackson, which manufactures flexible food packaging, again received a rating of Superior following a sanitation-and-quality management audit conducted by the American Institute of Baking (AIB). This is the 13th time that the American Nordenia site has received the highest mark in the audit. 

 

Silgan Plastics and Kortec to market proprietary thin-wall co-injected containers
Silgan Plastics, a North American supplier of rigid plastic bottles, closures and tubes, and Kortec Inc., a co-injection molding systems supplier, have announced their decision to enter into a long-term exclusive commercial partnership. Effective immediately, Silgan will have exclusive rights to manufacture and sell plastic containers utilizing Kortec's patented thin-wall PP-injection molding technology in specific North American markets including wet pet food, fruit cups, and microwaveable bowls for ready-to-eat soups, stews and meals.
