The extended UHF RFID reader/writer V750 product line includes versions for use in China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Mexico and Brazil.
The new high-powered, fixed-type reader/writers are designed with an auto tuning feature that self-adjusts read parameters according to tag density; a dense reader mode that helps filter out interference; and other features that aid reducing information processing loads and wiring in upstream systems while simplifying setup and operation.
The Gen 2-compliant V750 series has been sold in the United States and Canada since October 2006, Japan in December 2006 and South Korea since February 2007. The co. expects rollout to all seven additional countries to be completed by end of March 2008.
