The M-430iA/2F high-speed, intelligent 5-axis robot is designed to handle primary food and packaged products at rates to 120 cycles/min on a continuous basis while using visual line tracking. The co. says the robot has a clean design with no food-particle retention areas, so it resists bacteria growth and rust; has a hollow arm to avoid air line and electric cable exposure; is manufactured with food-grade grease and USDA-certifiable parts; and has an IP67 rating, enabling it to withstand the caustic food-industry cleaners used in washdowns.
