Cobot growth continues even through an uncertain economy. According to the Cobot Report, the market for collaborative robots will grow to $8 billion by 2030. The report notes that “despite the challenges facing the wider manufacturing industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, collaborative robots continue to attract attention and investment.”

Cobots have become an easy-to-deploy form of automation. They are less expensive than many other forms of automation, they are adaptable, and they can be re-deployed quickly. In a manufacturing world stymied by labor shortages, the cobot is looking increasingly attractive.
