Anticipating the California Air Resources Board's directives mandating reduced VOCs by 2010, the EarthSafe™ dispensing system is available, reportedly replacing hydrocarbons with compressed air as the propellant, in an aerosol can. The codeveloped system is also said to offer advanced valve technology, enabling total product evacuation at consistent flow rates while using fewer moving parts, increasing package reliability. Initially produced in a 202-dia size and in 306, 509, 605 and 700 heights, the can is also recyclable, the co. says. The technology is expected to be commercial in 2009.
