New monoblock closure and labeler introduced for wine bottling lines

Impresstik Systems of Sydney, Australia and Lyso Technologies of Saxon, Switzerland have collaborated to produce a high quality single frame closure applicator and labeler specifically designed for the Wine Industry.

The closure can be configured to accept PVC, tin, poly-lam or screw cap closures that can be either heat-shrunk or spun onto a bottle. The labeler section will apply labels from one or two rolls onto a wide range of glass sizes and types without the use of change-parts.

"This project has taken a long time to complete and perfect" says Andy O'Brien of Tapp Technologies who initiated and coordinated the project. "A lot of consideration was put into the design and functionality of the components. The equipment is controlled by a PLC and has a user friendly operator touch screen. We are excited about the quality of the overall finished product".

One of the distinct advantages of the monoblock is its small footprint which makes it ideal for mobile bottling lines or facilities with space constraints.
