Leading dairy producer Arla Foods found a winning recipe for its Lurpak Spreadables packaging. A customized container from Superfos and a metallized paper label from AR Metallizing combine to provide shelf appeal, product protection and a sustainable edge.

Using form and function to the highest level, the elegant silver package helps convey the premium quality of the Danish made product while also protecting the product from the lights of the supermarket.

Superfos designed a customized PP packaging using AR Metallizing metallized paper label, resulting in a package that has a more beautiful silvery look than what was achieved in the thermoformed packs that were used previously.

The new packaging succeeded not only in form but in function as well, with the metallized label paper also serving as a blocking agent in that it prevents light and UV light from seeping through the packaging while sitting on store shelves.

The other important function AR Metallizing metallized paper served is the fact that ARM's metallized paper is fully recyclable so this new package is also environmentally friendly.
