Laser printer upgrade accessory for RFID

The co.’s new RFID UHF Option was engineered as an add-on accessory, in place of a drawer, for the co.’s T654 monochrome laser printer. A radio and antenna is built directly into the printer option, which the co. says allows operations to save potentially thousands of dollars by leveraging their existing equipment versus purchasing new RFID thermal printers.

When fitted with the RFID UHF Option, the co.’s T654 monochrome laser printer can print RFID label media at speeds up to 20 pages/min. The configuration supports media from 5x7 in. to 8.5x14 in. RFID tags can be placed horizontally or vertically onto the media.
