Sustainability in Packaging 2010 keynote speaker announced

 

R. David Hoover, chairman & CEO of Ball Corp., has been named as the keynote speaker for Sustainability in Packaging 2010. Ball Corp. focuses on producing packaging that minimizes environmental impacts while meeting the requirements of their customers and consumers. 


Sustainability in Packaging 2010 will be held March 15-17, 2010, in Orlando, FL, and is organized by IntertechPira, a division of Pira International, in association with Packaging Digest and Converting magazines. The conference agenda highlights more than 50 leading companies with real case studies that will cover multiple aspects of sustainability, from materials, groundbreaking design, supply chain challenges, marketing messages, consumer demand and other drivers of sustainable innovation to strategic vision of how sustainability fits with a company's overall image and where to go next. Sessions will be lead by leading industry professionals such as Scott Vitters, director of sustainable packaging for The Coca-Cola Company; Michael Vincent, director of supply chain sustainability for Safeway Inc.; Alan Blake, associate director of global packaging sustainability for Procter & Gamble; and Kimberly Brining, senior packaging manager for Crate & Barrel.
