Tear tape for casesRippatape tear tape, specifically developed for use on corrugated and fiberboard cases, provides easy opening and increases the compression strength of secondary packaging, reducing the product damage that can occur during transit. It does not impede the recycling process of the board. A product and packaging design consultancy group based at Sheffield Hallam University in the U.K. confirms the strengthening capabilities of Rippatape. The consultancy, Design Futures, used analysis and comparative compressive strength testing on boxes with and without Rippatape.
