EcoPure
EcoLogic introduces EcoPure, an organic, non-starch based additive to the flexible and rigid packaging industry. Ecopure renders products manufactured from plastic resins biodegradable in landfills, says the company. The only additive validated using ASTM D5511 landfill biodegradability test, EcoPure is currently used in non-food and bottled-water applications. Added at an approximately 1% loading by weight, this proprietary additive is said to not affect processing, shelf-life, storage, and performance of finished product.
