We’ve entered a new phase in the debate about which is the better pet to have — dog or cat. Thanks to the folks at natural pet products company ökocat, you might have another fact to support your argument.

The company surveyed 2,008 American pet owners to ask about their sustainable lifestyles. It’s an important topic for the company, especially when you learn that öko is the German word for eco or ecological.

It discovered that a whopping 94% of respondents has tried to live more sustainably than they did a year ago. But how do the survey results breakdown by cat owner versus dog owner?? Which pet parent recycles more??
