Early 2025 will be a pivotal time for sustainability advocates.

• We’ll have insights from the fifth and final session of the UN Plastic Pact, taking place in Busan, Republic of Korea, now (November 25 to December 1).

• Separately, California is scheduled to release more details of its extended producer responsibility programs, which will likely influence the actions of the rest of the country.

• And countries from around the world will be submitting their updated climate plans by February 10 to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, aka The Paris Agreement.

Set in early February, the new FuturePack Forum is perfectly timed to help you make sense of these far-reaching developments and determine your best path forward.

As sustainability is cemented as a core priority for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, the need for innovation and collaboration in packaging has never been greater.

Workshop focuses on giving you answers.

FuturePack Forum is a groundbreaking initiative designed to leverage the knowledge of CPG leaders and sustainable packaging experts. Taking place during WestPack at the Sustainable Manufacturing Expo (February 4-5; Anaheim, California), FuturePack Forum is more than your typical tradeshow education: You’ll have the opportunity to connect and work closely with sustainable packaging experts and your CPG peers to specifically address your challenges.

With increasing consumer demand for sustainable packaging and tightening regulations, FuturePack Forum provides a critical space for companies to stay ahead of the curve. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on practical solutions that align with environmental, global, and market demands.

“The FuturePack Forum is a place where packaging and design engineers can come together to interact with top CPGs to discuss the latest industry regulations and innovations in the space,” says Melissa Magestro, VP, Informa Markets Engineering. “As regulatory compliance is an increasing topic in the industry, the Forum has been expertly curated to provide a space for packagers to convene and discuss the challenges organizations face in becoming more compliant and ideate solutions together for a safer and more sustainable product lifestyle.”
