To measure squeezable tube fatigue as well as label or appliqué delamination, Tactilus® is a surface-pressure mapping technology. The sensor system reportedly comprises a matrix-based tactile surface-sensor element, software and an electronic hub that plugs into a Windows®-compatible PC or laptop. The Tactilus testing sensor is designed to encase a tube; a pressure profile measures force applied, with simultaneous data collection by up to four discrete sensor pads.
