Carton closer

Delkor has been awarded a U.S. patent on its Intelligent Positioning technology for its Capstone Tri-Seal carton closing machine. The system is able to handle more complex cartons by analyzing each one for sealing-flap and graphics alignment and automatically making precise corrections at speeds up to 150 cartons per minute. This helps customers close near-perfect cartons each and every time, and make sure packages look good, too. The system's compact, right-angle layout requires about 35 percent less floor space than similar competitive machines. The Tri-Seal has fewer parts, too, than traditional carton closers and offers easy access for cleaning/maintenance, as well as tool-less product changeover in five to 10 minutes. It handles tri-seal, front-flap-seal and hooded or hinged lid carton styles (paperboard or corrugate) in sizes from 3.5x3x1 inches to 14x12x6 inches (l, w, h). Closing can be mechanical tuck or hot melt sealed. Click here to see video.
