Schubert has upgraded its Flowpacker flow wrapper with technology that provides a quick change of the cross-sealing unit to switch from box motion with linear-moving sealing jaws to heat-sealing with rotating sealing jaws. In either configuration, seal time is continuously adjustable, depending on film speed.

The machine can process thick, high-barrier plastic films, as well as monofilms and paper-based films. An integrated unit, the Flowpacker features image processing and pick-and-place product infeed. Its compact design enables manufacturers to save up to 70% space on the production floor vs. conventional flow wrappers.
