Welcome to Sober October, an annual challenge that encourages people to abstain from consuming alcoholic beverages for the entire month. The goal is to promote a healthier lifestyle, which can lead to various physical, mental, and social benefits.

But it doesn’t mean you have to refrain from drinking if you switch from alcohol-heavy drinks to low- and no-alcohol (NA) beverages, as many have.

According to Data Bridge Market Research, the global ready-to-drink “mocktail” market is expected to grow 9.6% yearly to $9.43 billion by 2028.

The broader market growth rate for low-alcohol beverages in general is forecast at 4.1% yearly until 2027. Research indicates that each subsegment is being driven by increasingly healthy minded consumers who want their drinks without guilt and with convenience, too, which is where packaging comes in.

It’s against this background that we present a #SoberOctober slideshow with a healthy and diverse sampling of packaged drinks.
