The co.'s recent purchase of certain assets of Spain's Grupo Sistiaga S.L. gives it a new product line of aluminum coatings as well as greater geographic reach. Sistiaga makes aluminum coatings for aerosol cans and aluminum bottles that are able to withstand the manufacturing-intensive bottle-necking process with highly contoured aluminum bottles. The expansion allows the co. to respond to the fast-growing aluminum bottle segment, it says, which aligns with its vision of “anticipating tomorrow's packaging needs today.”
