RFID antenna paper substrates

The co. has signed an exclusive agreement with Parelec to join its Certified RFID Partner Program as a partner for RFID antenna paper substrates. The program will enable customers to acquire RFID antenna technology manufactured with the co.'s papers and Parelec's Parmod® conductive inks. Parmod is a patented technology that enables the formation of continuous-phase, pure-metallic conductors at a relatively low temperature, making them suitable for application to polymer substrates. Parmod materials comprise metal particles and a reactive organic medium (ROM) that volatilizes during the heating process. The products include silver and copper and other metal and oxide compositions. Applications for the new paper substrates include inlays, labels, packaging and other projects.
