SCG International Acquires Logistics Company Elite Packaging and Crating

SCG International, a U.S.-based global provider of fully integrated, domestic and international security services, today announced it has acquired Elite Packaging and Crating, a Norfolk, VA-based logistics company, and merged the company into its logistics division to offer clients a complete array of logistics services.

Elite Packaging and Crating is a logistics company that provides customers with a variety of services from information gathering, transportation and inventory management to warehousing, materials handling and packaging.

SCG International has also hired Elite Packaging and Crating president Tim Dodge to run its newly expanded logistics division. Dodge brings more than 16 years of experience in shipping, inventory and logistics with extensive background in security-related matters. Dodge has specific expertise in the transport of hazardous materials and weapons, import/export regulations, warehouse management, customs procedures and international freight movement.
