Compañía Cervecera de Canarias (Canary Island Beer Co.), part of the SAB Miller Group, unveils colorful aluminum bottles for the Tenerife Intl Carnival. The shatterproof bottles will decorated in three different Carnival-inspired motifs: Charlot shows the figure of the mythic Spanish character surrounded by retro motifs, which intends to invoke images of the 1970s; Carnaval places an accent on the carnival celebration in and of itself and reviews the different characters who have participated in it; and Yellow Submarine highlights the traditional Dorada label in which different illustrations with carnival motifs are included.

According to the bottle supplier, Boxal, a div. of the Exal Group, the aluminum bottle distribution is the first initiative of its kind on the Canary Islands. Two hundred fifty thousand of the specially decorated bottles of Dorada will be distributed, as Dorada is the official beer of the Tenerife Capital Intl Festival.

The bottle designs have been developed in cooperation between CCC marketing teams and Boxal print specialists. Boxal printed the bottles using high definition offset for optimal visual rendering and impact.

Boxal remarks that aluminum bottles offer great brand exposure and communication opportunities for SAB Miller Group by offering a fresh look and feel for consumers looking for different drinking experiences and new consumption occasions. Additionally, the bottles provide a strong barrier to light and air, protecting the flavor of the products, and are 100 percent recyclable.
