New buying teams program debuts at PACK EXPO Las Vegas
January 30, 2014
Multi-disciplinary buying teams from major consumer goods companies including ConAgra, Kraft, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble and Sara Lee are joining the search for innovation at PACK EXPO. These companies are participants in the Innovation Discovery Program, an enhanced version of the VIP Corporate program, launched earlier this year by the Packaging Machinery Mfrs.’ Institute (PMMI).
“The Innovation Discovery program is designed to demonstrate to large consumer goods companies and retailers that PACK EXPO is the most cost-effective way to discover
technologies that will give them the competitive edge, grow brand preference and launch creative new brand-building concepts,” explains Matt Croson, vp of member services
at PMMI, sponsor and producer of PACK EXPO Las Vegas.
“We enhanced the program to include a range of customized services both in advance of the show and on-site to ensure participants gain the most value from the time they have at
PACK EXPO.”
Program services include:
• A private collaboration room at the Las Vegas Convention Center to meet with developers, inventors and designers and conduct team meetings.
• A business concierge service to help participants identify show exhibitors with technology that aligns with areas in which they have expressed interest.
• Onsite, customized innovation briefings from the PMMI staff outlining developments and solutions being showcased at PACK EXPO that respond to specific c areas of interest.
• Free registration to all exhibits at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the entire Conference at PACK EXPO program, including keynote sessions. Companies interested in participating in the Innovation Discovery program at PACK EXPO International 2010 should contact Matt Croson, vp of member service at PMMI, at 703/243-8555 or matt@

To maximize the benefits of the program, PACK EXPO request that participating firms bring 40 or more professionals from a variety of disciplines such as open innovation,
